Blockage in the esophagus

Do you have someone who can go with you? It might help to use the buddy system. Someone who can calm your nerves and help ask the doc the right questions. Someone who can pick you up and say "we are going now, giddy up!"

Chilling..

You dont say how you know for sure you have a blockage - has it been diagnosed by an ENT or are you just guessing based off of you having issues swallowing? It could be something totally different - either way you need to be seen by the doctor and push all fears aside. Not going is already wreaking havoc on you - and you cannot afford NOT to eat and go to those dark places again my dear. So please.. go to the ENT and see what needs and do what must be done - for your health and peace of mind.

You're in my thoughts and prayers.

My doctor is the one sending me to the specialist but after he heard what was going on that is why. When I tried to eat I felt extreme pain right in the middle of my breast after just a couple of bites and would have to stop eating because the pain was so severe. I think it was the second day after I started having problems with this I tried to eat supper but couldn't. The pain was so bad I could not only feel it between my breast but it felt like it was going to snap my spine into peices.

That night I couldn't get rid of the pain so I ended up trying to sleep so that I wouldn't feel the pain. The next morning, maybe 10 hours later after eating I woke up and was immediately sick. Just quizzy and had to make a run to the toilet to vomit.

This is gross but the food that came out was reconizable{sp}. You could tell no stomach acid had touched that food. The food was just sitting there trapped at the end of my esophagus. This is why I think its a blockage and if I try and eat anything now the same thing happens.
