My 6 week old Brahma chick has stopped eating, and heaves like she is trying to pass something or poop. When I first picked her up 2 days ago, she vomited some clear liquid. She did have some hay in her cage, and I fear she may have eaten some.
Symptoms:
** won't eat
** is pooping small amounts of liquid
** will vomit if I hold her at an angle and rub her chest
Today she is feisty, and fighting me as I drop 5 ml of sugar water down her throat.
When I set her down, she strains and heaves like she's trying to push things through.
Does anybody have any thoughts or experience?
