hello,
i recently started my blog on this site and realized after i added some pictures that they are too big for the screen. in otherwords you have to scroll left and right to see the entire picture. and then this makes mt text the same way. i cannot stand reading something like this so i guess others probably feel the same way. how do i reduce the size of the pics to fit the size of the screen?

thanks

gary

I don't know if this will help, but you could give it a try. On my blog pages, rather than copying the picture, I copy the "image" link. It lets me put lots of thumbnail images onto the page, and then anyone reading can click on the pic to enlarge it. I just put a note at the top of all my pages that they can click on ony pic to enlarge it.

Wow, that's a big picture!!!

Check out this tool: http://browsersize.googlelabs.com/

It
shows that 95%+ of the internet won't be able to view that whole picture.

You're best bet is to use the BYC upload tool that will auto-resize your image (instead of using photobucket)

You can also resize the image in the editor, but that isn't advised because the file size remains the same.

You might also be able to grab a lower resolution (smaller) image from photobucket.
