Blood Blood Everywhere

Well my brother smashed a glass and stepped on it, blood all over the carpet and newly remodled bathroom! He had to go get stiches and worst of all he dosent have insurance because he is no longer a full time student!

Hope your brother is feeling better. Bad day for him! Use hydogen peroxide to get the blood out of the rug!

About the blood on the carpet, let it dry, and then scrape it off with the sweeper hose while you are vacuuming.
I will ask my DH what to do after that, he is asleep now. He was a carpet cleaner and he would know! If you wet the blood, it will set the stain in, and peroxide can bleach the carpet.
So for now try not to do anything till it dries!
Also if you ever have a pet poop or vomit, the best thing do do is to clean up what you can, and then let it dry, scape it up with the sweeper hose while you vacuum! It is hard to wait while seeing the stain, but it works!

Oh thanks, yea we got the stains out and my brother is okay, it took 9 stiches, and they didnt get home until 3:00 at night!
