My silver hen has started laying eggs with blood on them. I found a lot of dried blood on underside around the hole and scabs right at the opening.
I gently washed her with warm water and applied an antibiotic ointment to the area. Next day the scabs look worse and still bloody eggs. I don't see any mites on her, unless they're too small to see.
I've got her isolated and hoping she will heal if I keep tending her wound. Any advice would greatly be appreciated.
