My new Hampshire Red chick has fleshie stuff in her poop I've read it could be cocci but the only thing at tractor supply was Duramycin-10 which is (tetracycline hydochloride) The chick is in with two other baby pulluts. What should i do??? It's sat. I really don't have the money to take a chick to the vet today. When I read the stuff on line it is so overwhelming ,i feel I should be in medical school.
P'm very very new to this chick thing!
The chick is acting fine and drinking ,eating and trying to fly out of cage.
Thanks in advance to all who respond

I was concerned by the same thing at one point but then someone posted this link: http://www.chat.allotment.org.uk/index.php?topic=17568.0 and I have kept it as a bookmark for future reference. I was able to relax after seeing that what I was seeing was completely normal and NO cause for concern that my birds had Cocci. I can't say whether the same will be true for you but hope the link will help....
