Blood in eggs?

I tend to find this in new layers mostly. When they pop a vessel along their reproductive tract and it gets wrapped up in the shell. Nothing to worry about. Sometimes meat and blood spots can be genetic, so just don't hatch eggs from the ones predisposed to the issues if it is unsightly.

Thanks for your reply. I don't have a rooster so have no worries about hatching them.
