Chickytendie
Chirping
my new batch of chicks are about 13weeks old. Last week 1 hen out of 6 had some blood in the stool. Everyone was treated with corid promptly 2tsp per gallon of water for 5days.
Two days after the end of their corid round (this Sunday), 2 other chicks had blood in the stool. The original one is back to normal. I again started corid, I gave each of the two chicks an oral dose as well (.1ml per pound) They are huddled in the corner and haven’t eaten in two days they do get up to drink water though. I brought them inside, their crops are full of water. I checked their crop this morning and they still had water in there despite having no access to water overnight.
Their poop no longer has blood in it. But it is brown and runny.
I’ve added a photo of the bloody poop I found.
Please could someone advise me on what to do next for them.
