blood in the egg

i have an egg hatching there is a hole about 1/2 in by 1/2 in in the shelll but there is alot of blood thats a bad thing right

did the egg hatch? Sometimes there is some blood and it's not a good thing but it's not always bad either

Sometimes chicks will pip through a vein and it will bleed. Most of the time this isn't too big of a problem, unless you can see blood actually flowing or welling up.

so far 4 have hatched 3 are fine the third died it was deformed and would not survive anyways and i have 5 or 6 more hatching as i am typeing this so i will post again tomorrow

if theres blood in the egg it could mean that it was too humid in the bator but the chick should be fine
