blood on egg shell?

I went out to collect eggs and notice smeared blood on one of the eggs. I looked over the chickens none of them are bleeding, should I be worried? was the egg just bigger and that's why their may have been a little tearing and blood?

No I would not be worried. Because sometimes the oviduct is a little small and the eggs have to squeeze to get out, but soon the oviduct will sort of streach(if you would call it) and get bigger.(so then the eggs will have enough room to go through).
