Blood on Egg?

Hi - one of my EE's (she is my most consistent layer) laid an egg today that had some blood on it - it was dried by the time I saw it. Is this just a once - off or should I be concerned?

It will happen in the course of egg laying. You may see it again occassionally. Don't worry over it unless you think it is excessive. You might turn up a few rumps and just have a quick look to make sure everything is ok.

yes a lil blood on the egg is normal.
