Blood on eggs & nesting boxes

Just recently our chickens eggs (the outsides) are bloody, went from one once in awhile to 3 a day, also we have notice blood on the sides of the nesting box. We recently changed feeds, but we had this issue before then. Any help would be appreciated.

I don't have any idea what could be causing this, but giving the thread a bump up higher. I'm sure there are people who might have some ideas.

Are they laying bigger eggs when it happens? I have this when my girls lay a really big egg. If they are new layers that might be the problem.
