Blood on pullets eggs...is this normal?

Can someone tell me if it is normal for a pullet to lay an egg with a ring of blood at the top (pointed part) of the egg? I am assuming it is blood (sure looks like it).

I have 2 Spitzhaubens that lay white eggs, the last 2 small ones had a ring of blood on them....I think it is Mitzy laying her first couple of eggs...would that be why?

Will it stop? She seems perfectly fine - I have just never seen anything like this!

Sometimes new pullets have a hard time getting the kinks worked out of laying and alittle blood comes along with the egg.....try some black oiled sunflower seeds in their diet....

Last mo. [Sept] when my girls started laying, a number of the 1st eggs from them, had blood, now that all is in full swing there is none at all. I think it's a pullet thing.
