Noticing a lot of blood on yolks from our ducks. Not sure why we are frequently seeing this. They are relatively young at about six months old and have been laying for only a month or so. They eat an organic corn free, soy free diet with added soldier fly larvae. They are also free range all day and pick up lots of worms in the mornings. They live with three geese that were brooded with them (only mention because sometimes a goose sits on them and I think tries to mate when the ducks get into the water.) No drakes and no Ganders from what I can tell. Are the blood spots something to be concerned about or is it normal?

Will post pick next time I crack a bloody one open. Definitely no drakes, they are a bunch of loud mouth quackers.
I know it can happen from time to time but was wondering if seeing it frequently could be problematic. One of the ducks lays double yolk eggs sometimes and that one had blood this morning.

Got one this morning. It wasn’t as much blood as the last one I had (which was a double yolk).
