Blood oozing out of pip hole?

OK, a few hours after hatch. Seems that (s)he has a small yolk sack still attached. Eyes have shrunk a bit. However, it just lies on its side and breaths heavy....

Well in the next 24 hours hopefully it will perk up and look better....Hang in there little one....
its proubly just wore out from the hatch....

i had one like this no blood oozing but i dryed and started walking and died 3 days later hopefully the little thing is just a late bloomer

I had one that I opened that had not pipped and was late,it was alive so I just layed it on the bator floor,and 12hrs.later it was dry put it under mama hen and he or she is the cutest little splash cochin banty 2wks.later is bigger than a few of the other little ones that hatched on their own.He was looking like he would never make it.

Well the little booger is still alive. He is looking alot better, drying up. He is very week and can barely lift his head, even this long after hatch. He has a loud chirp though and manages to "propel" himself around the brooder by flopping in circles. If he makes it through the night my guess is that he will be the strongest of the hatch!

Well it is morning, he doesnt look much better but he is alive with his head up! THat has to be good right?
