Noticed hen passed red dropping and brought her in for epsom salt bath, then she passed this normal looking one. Can anyone tell me if the first is blood or lining :(

When you see unusual poop, that's only half the story. The other half which determines whether you should be concerned is behavior. If the chicken is acting normally, eating normally, interacting normally with the flock, then the poop is likely not of concern at this moment.

As a rule, blood in poop will be ruby red. Intestinal shed is more orange to reddish orange. Since color variation is subjective depending on your own individual cones and rods in your eyes, you may not be able to determine this subtle difference. That's why we go with behavior to confirm that the chicken may be sick. Coccidiosis will almost always cause a chicken to act sick, and the poop is usually runny and sick looking.

Thank you. I was worried because when I went to let them out for a little while she was sitting on her perch ready for bed two nights in a row now. She’s usually the first one out the door so it’s strange she was uninterested in coming out. When I pick her up and put her outside she starts to walk around with the others but when she passed that red looking dropping she was staying back and not really hanging out with the others. She’s also molting though so she could just not be in the mood + I’ve noticed bumblefoot on her. if her behavior gets really worrying I’ll take her to the vet :(

I would consider worming her with albendazole or Valbazen 1/2 ml orally and then repeat it in 10 days. That wormer is safe when molting, and since blood may be seen with worms or coccidiosis, it would be good to do. If you feel like coccidiosis would be a problem, since she is going to be early, you could also do a round of Corid at the same time. Here is where to get albendazole since Valbazen is harder ro find at the moment:
https://toltrazurilshop.com/products/albendazole-11-36-liquid-solution/

If you decide to treat with Corid, dosage is 2 tsp of the liquid or 1.5 tsp of the powder per gallon of water for 5 days.

Thank you, it looks like shes waiting for the other chickens to leave or move out of the way before she comes hops down from her spot and comes out. She’s on the bottom of their pecking order and she always loses the most feathers so molting is pretty stressful for her. She’s keeping up with her flock tonight though! Thank you for the worming suggestions, it’s been something I wasn’t sure about but I’ll try to find some at our tractor supply

Tried to take her to the vet today because I found more red inside her droppings but they closed before I could. My work hours are sooo long, do you know if it’s ok to use one of those wormers and corid at the same time? My dad said he would take her tomorrow without me but I’m worried about her and her crop is pretty empty

Never mind! I just seen you said I can use both at once, thank you

The albendazole is usually only available online, and that store is in post 4. SafeGuard liquid goat wormer which is usually available at most feed stores, probably should be avoided while she is worming. Some say it can affect feather regrowth. Your vet could do a fecal float to look for worms or coccidiosis, but I would get the Corid started right away. If she has coccidiosis, it can get worse quickly.

I started giving her corid Thursday night and my dad was able to take her to the vet Friday while I at work. I call back Monday to find out the results from her fecal test. They also gave her a 10 day antibiotic she gets every 12 hours. I’ve started my other flock on corid to prevent them and her flock is getting the full dosage, while I was cleaning where they slept I found more bloody droppings today even though she’s been separated since Wednesday night :(
