Blood rings...

I just candled my 14 marans...saw embryo movement in 11 of them

. My first time incubating so very happy. There are 3 that I think I see a blood ring...but, not sure. Don't smell anything. How long do you think I can leave them in there to re-candle and evaluate before they would be a problem for my others

Well, I like to wait until day 15 before throwing anything away.......Just MHO.

Even if there are blood rings, chances are you could leave them in there for the whole hatch without them going bad...

I usually candle mine on the 14th or 15th day and remove any that are no good. They usually won't break within the hatch period but every once in a while they do. Then I get in trouble from my wife LOL So I try to stay on top of them.
