Blood Specks in Eggs?

Hello Everyone,

Can anyone tell me if they've experienced blood specks in either the yolk (fresh) or in the white if boiled? I don't have a rooster but I did hear something about if chickens get startled or scred this happens. Is that true? Sorry no picture. I'll post one soon when I come across it again. It's been a frequent occurence this summer.
