My pullets recently started laying and I’ve cracked a few eggs open and they’ve had little red dots in the yolk, or sometimes outside the yolk. Are these little blood spots? Are they safe to eat? I’m new so I have no idea what I’m doing lol and knowledge is welcome.

taken from google:
"It's actually a little malfunction on the part of the hen. According to the Egg Safety Center: [Meat spots or blood spots] are caused by the rupture of a blood vessel on the yolk surface when it's being formed or by a similar accident in the wall of the oviduct. Eggs with blood spots and meat spots are fit to eat"
