I am suddenly getting more eggs with blood spots, some of which run into the white of the egg. I know it is OK to eat these eggs. Just wondering if it most likely coming from one hen? It seems to me I remember reading something several years ago about certain breeds being more genetically prone to blood spots. Does anyone have any information on this? I don't mind the blood, but I have several egg customers who are a bit grossed out by it. Thank you. :o)
