blood spots in eggs

just what causes blood spots in chicken eggs.

Broken blood vessels or sloughed tissue in the hen's reproductive tract as eggs are being formed get deposited in the developing egg.

Thank you...Is this something that occurs in that chicken all the time, is it a bad thing or just a thing.

I'm really not sure, but my guess would be that some hens (a very few) might have ongoing problems but that usually it is an occasional "assembly line glitch."
