I have 3 hens in this coop, two Easter Eggers and one Barred Rock. All have been healthy, laying well, normal poops, etc. Opened up the coop to clean it and saw this. Clearly, something not good happened…

I inspected everyone thoroughly, though, and they’re all fine? No injuries I can find, all happily foraging in my backyard, everyone is getting along with no pecking.

It’s clearly SOMETHING… any ideas?

I read some old posts that suggested that it could be from a peck to the comb while the girls were squabbling overnight. Does that look like what this could be?

Are you sure the golden hen is an Easter Egger? She looks like my mystery breed, Little Bit.
Sold to me as an Easter Egger from the same person, at the same time as the grey Easter Egger, and she lays blue eggs, so as sure as I can be! Not sure what she's made of, though.
