blood under zipping egg

one of my eggs pipped, and then was zipping. I have noticed some blood underneath it in the incubator. No chicks have hatched in this incubator, so I know this is from this egg. Is it dead, or should I keep hoping?

Hi,

I haven't had this happen myself, but have read about it in others' posts and replies. People say it is because the chick hit a blood vessel in the membrane when it pipped. If it is not a lot of blood, then hopefully it stopped pipping to finish the last stage of development and will hatch out okay. Keep us posted!

okay, it's been a while, almost two days. should I remove the egg now?
