I have been seeing a small speck of blood in poo since i have had these chickens. Nothing severe. They are about 6 months old. This morning i see this--i dont see injuries but where do i even begin? Theyve been hanging out in their coop since its gotten colder the last two weeks. One hen started throwing softshells before she stopped laying. No other symptoms.

It would be worth it to start the corid. I put mine on it recently because a couple of them were puffed up. Could be molt but it won’t hurt.

I dosed their water with Corid today. Is there anything else it could be?

If they get into some red berries or something this can happen but from what I’ve seen that will produce normal looking poop that is homogeneously dyed the color of the berry. In the summer my chickens eat a lot of Autumn Olive berries and their poop looks normal but pink. I even saw dome purple poop last time I cleaned the coop (which was disturbing but there is a lot of Poke here so I assume one of them got into that). Berries don’t look like blood and you said yours had been having this for a while and in the coop for a couple weeks so not sure what else it could be
