Our Golden Comets have a little bit of blood around the eggshell, there 22 weeks old and they started laying eggs just last week
is there any reason for the blood on the eggshell
?

Yes. Not the least bit alarming. They're just getting a bit stretched from pushing out those first eggs, and breaking a capillary here and there. It will clear up. Just wash those eggs off and enjoy them!!!

When does a Americauna usually start laying eggs on a daily bases are they what you would call a "late bloomer"?
