Overnight the bumpy spot at the base of the tail feathers became bloodied and the two white feathers on wings are either bloodied on the ends or missing altogether. This has happened on biggest 5 of the 8 that I have. The little down (feathers) around their heads are a little raggedy too. They are exactly 3 weeks and 2 days old BA's. There is some pecking on them by others this morning. Yesterday I added a light dusting of DE for the first time when I added more shavings. I know for a fact they weren't this way last evening as we had all of them out and inspected individually. There was nothing unusual about the way they slept, all piled in a corner in a protected part of their coop. I have a baby monitor out there and certainly would have heard them fussing and fighting if they had.
