bloody butts

morning,
had one of our chicks (3 week) old with bloody tail head? the others chased it round pecking it. what to do? i did put some watkins salve on it, it slowed down the peacking. Where do i go from here? do i seperate it?

I would seperate it until it heals. Maybe put it back with the others for short periods so that the total reintroduction of the chick back with the others go a little better. It may have pasty butt and bleeding due to that. Have you noticed poop sticking it it's butt?
