bloody chicks/eggs?

I have 5 eggs and the first two hatched with no problem, but the other two that are pipping now I'm confused about. Where they started pipping you can tell there is blood. The pieces of egg shells they managed to break off is also bloody. Is this normal or will the chicks be hurt/messed up?

sometimes there is blood from the umbilical...I have had alot of chicks bleed a wee bit and be just fine.

Keep an eye on them, they should be fine as long as they are pipping and zipping ok.
