I found this when I went out to feed the hens this morning. Is it a bad sign?

Can you take a stick and see if that is a worm about 6 o’clock? It looks like orangey cecal shed, and if you see more of that, I would worm them with Valbazen or SafeGuard. How old are they?
Unfortunately, no, I’m out of town right now.
One of the hens is almost three, two are almost one, and the rooster is unknown.
I’ll deworm them anyway when I get home.
 
Looks like intestinal lining to me, but I would deworm anyway as heavy shedding of intestinal lining hints to internal parasites.
