Bloody egg white.

I did a search before asking this. Today I cracked open an egg from one of my Gold Laced Wyandottes and there was blood in the white. There wasn't any blood on the yolk at all. The white part of the egg was at least 50% blood. It was unappetizing to say the least. The dog sure enjoyed it tho.

I will usually get the small blood spot in the white and I just eat the eggs anyways. Not a big deal but this was all liquid and throughout the white. What was it about and will it happen again?

She probably had a small vessel bleed white the egg was forming. It may never happen again. Iwouldn't worry about it unless it does.

this happened to me too, it did come from my chicken Abi and she always has some health issue. It hasn't happened since, so im not realy sure.
