I would separate her from the flock while you check her and if the wound is actively bleeding, put stiptic powder or corn starch on it to stop the bleeding. If you have Blue Cote or another good medicine like it, use that once the bleeding has stopped. If you can, keep her in the coop with the others but in a safe crate or fenced in area so the others can't hurt her. Do you think it was an attack or did she get trapped and injured on something in the coop or run?Came back from a trip and saw my birds wing bloody. What can I do to fix it up. This is under the wing
I think I would just keep her confined in a crate or carefully fenced area in the coop and see how she is in the morning. If you pack it and there is infection or something (piece of wire or anything) stuck in there you could make it worse. It wouldn't hurt to clean it with a soft cloth soaked in warm water and a little hydrogen peroxide. And if you have Blue Cote or Vetricine, that should be fine to coat the area with.Should I pack it or anything
