I have a booted bantam that has a bloody stool and trouble balancing and low energy. This happened overnight. Does it sound like cocci?

Bloody stool, lethargy, hunched shoulders, disinterest in food/water are all signs of Coccidiosis. Separate the chicken if it's weak and start on Corid in the water. If it's not drinking then do a direct "drench" by using a syringe to manually medicate the bird. Make sure to medicate all birds in your flock as its highly contagious.

I just got over this in one of my brooders and if you move quick you can have a very good survival/recovery rate.

Is that the same as amprolium?
Amprolium is the active ingredient that helps prevent/stabilize coccidiosis. It's found in medicated feed and lots of medicines--one of the most common is Corid.

Note that with Corid/Amprolium treatment that you usually need to do a second dose a few weeks after the initial outbreak.
