Bloody poop

One of my new baby chicks is pooping and it's bloody. His poop has been bloody at least the last 3 times that I know for sure. Also, both of his eyes have been closed all day. What could be wrong and how can I help it? Please Help me

Maybe Cocci. I would have a vet take a look at them.

Thank you. I think I will end up having to take the little chick to the vet just to make sure he'll be alright.

Sounds like cocci to me too. Are they on medicated feed?

If I were you, I would get some Sulmet at your local feedstore or Tractor Supply.

I've never dealt with cocci before, but I hear that it takes chicks fast, so get some Sulmet in their water ASAP.

I am treating mine for cocci now. I have read a lot about it in the past few days, I have read that they will die in 4 days. Go get the sulmet.
