I got from a 7000 bird, chicken farm, 6 pullets. About a week after I got them I noticed what appears to be one chickens, although it could be 2 chickens, irregular stool. One seems loose, another bloody. I have given the meds for cocc (whatever it is) and no change. No chicken looks sick, no change in the stools. I see one of each, every morning on their roosting platform. Got any ideas?

How old are these pullets? What meds did you give for cocci? What are you feeding them now? Blood in stools can be caused by cocci, worms, or some kind of intestinal enteritis. Do the birds appear unthrifty.

I got them at 10 weeks old, I am using Sulmet in their drinking water and I am feeding them Nature Wise's grower/finisher food. And they appear healthy enough. Unthrifty? Not sure what you mean.

How long have they been on sulmet?

What dosage are you using?

Do you still see blood in stool?

By unthrifty, I mean, feathers ruffled, not standing nice a tall, standing a little hunched. Not acting as lively.
