Hi there, i recently picked up 3 new 5 week old silkies. One of them has very bloody stool. They are all active. I know that the first course of treatment is corid, but its been 6 days and there is no change. I an putting 1/4tsp in a quart and making it fresh daily. Its their only water source. Any other thoughts of what could cause this?

I am not sure, but I think it takes a bit of time and some bloody pooping to clear up their intestinal tract?

Your dose is too low, for either the powder or liquid form of Corid. Correct dosing is in chart below. I would start from the beginning with the correct dose, use the severe outbreak dose (doses are given per gallon of water):

I’m mixing in a quart jar so my dosage is appropriate for a moderate outbreak. I’ll up it to the amount for a severe outbreak. Thanks! :)
