Continued blood in stool

It was liquid. I’ve gone ahead and ordered these two things from Jed’s and will treat when I return. Thank you both so much for all your help, it’s so great to have a community of folks who know and love chickens that I can reach out to!!M

And in the meantime I’ll treat with the fresh powder
With Liquid, it may have been a bit old. Good idea using the fresh when you get it.

Keep us posted on how she's doing.

Thanks @Eggcessive and @Wyorp Rock, just an update on Tammy: I think the fresh corid powder did the trick-I have not seen blood in her stool for a couple of days and she seems pretty perky. I did order those other treatments from Jedd’s so maybe will administer them anyway when they arrive. But thank you for all your help, this community is such a boon to me.

Glad to hear Tammy is doing better!
Thank you for the update.

How did this turn out for you? We are dealing with similar persistent blood in stool with one of our pullets and I’m thinking of treating with a sulfa drug.

Hi @Hbixler, Tammy did well after I used the fresher corid powder in the water supply. The order from Jedd’s took awhile to get to me and she was fine by the time it showed up so I elected not to use it (why treat them unnecessarily, it may just increase resistance to treatment). If fresh corid isn’t doing the trick I would definitely try the sulfa. You may just want to pay extra to have it overnighted.
