Bloody stringy mucus poop

I went to clean the coop this morning and where my girls roost there was a big pile of bloody stringy mucusy poop. I treated with Corid a week ago for 5 days bc we lost a hen we thought had Coccidiosis. Not one drop of bloody poop for a week everyone is happy chirping and going on their happy daily life. A week went by and i had a chicken who became paralyzed and unable to move her legs. After 5 days we put her down. Then today I find bloody poop. I am so upset and frustrated and have no idea if this is Coccodiosis. Please any help is appreciated.

Can you post some photos of what you are seeing?

What dosage of Corid did you use? Was the mixed Corid water the only source of drinking water for the chickens?

Sorry for your loss. So, you put the chicken down today or yesterday? Do you still have the body? I would get a necropsy done if you still have the body and can keep it cool on ice, but not frozen.

Do you have a picture of the poop? There can be blood or intestinal shed after coccidiosis treatment. It could be some sloughing off of the intestinal wall, but there still could be some infection. If it is stringy and more orange like tomato, it may be shed. Can you check some droppings for coccidia with your local vet? How are the chickens acting? Are any lethargic or not eating? If any act the least bit sick, you can treat again, or go ahead and treat them if you have any doubts.

9.5 ml per gallon on Corid. — I did 3 gallons and changed daily. I already threw out the poop for today. It was enough to make me worry. Bright red stringy. I’ll get a pic tomorrow if there’s more. I’ve started more Corid.

blood enough to make Me dig through the poop. The chickens are all running jumping squaking and eating and drinking. The one I put down yesterday is gone. (Trash was picked up) I did start the Corid again just Incase.

I would also have restarted Corid. There are some strains that can be resistant to Corid, and usually sulfadimethoxine is given instead. It might be hard to get that online for pigeons before Thanksgiving, but your local vet might be able to get some. As long as they are doing okay, the Corid may be just fine. You can give it for 5 more days at full strength, and then reduce it to 1/3 the dosage for another 5 days.

I don't know. I had one with paralysis we thought was a Vit deficiency so we tried to get her better and that didn't work and now her sister has the same signs. It could be Mareks? It could be a Vit deficiency I honestly do not know.
