So i have this Deleware hen, She was walking past me this afternoon and i saw that she had blood comming out of her vent. Her bottom, underside n e way, is swollen a little and feels like it is full of water.
Is she egg bound?
I've seperated her for now but i dont know what else i need to do

She could be egg bound and she could have had an egg break inside of her.

Have you tried to check and see if there is any broken shell inside her vent?

No i didnt want to hurt her, she is acting quite fine right now so shes just being confined to a seperate room

Well, you could try to set up a nest with a heating pad set on low OR have her sit in some warm water. If she has a large egg stuck, the warmth will help relax her muscles and the egg might come out easier. (The heating pad worked best for us, fwiw.)

shes fine. back to normal. im not sure waht was wrong but im going to have to just keep an eye on her
