I guess it is where you live. We have no trash man, we go to the dump, they only care if you try to dump metal and ask you to put it in a metal bin, if they are even there.Where I live ,everyone burns plastics, dumps trash on others property, I even have baby diapers make their way into my pastures. As for needles, what you might get avian -flu

from the needles.... So are my sewing needles bio-hazard after I dig out a splinter?

I put mine in a glass jar or empty salad dressing bottle, mainly so I won't get stuck, when I compact everything..... What ever happened to common sense?
