I currently have splash laced wyandotte bantams hens, so from my understanding I need a black wyandotte bantam roo to produce BLRW. Is this correct? And if so can anyone point me in the direction of where I couldpurchase one?

If you want Blue Laced Reds, you can't use a solid black rooster. If you use a Gold Laced rooster, you run into the problem of losing the rich red color in later generations. You need to find a Black Laced Red or Blue Laced Red. I suggest ordering some straight run chicks from a good breed. This will give you a few to cockerels to choose from. The Wyandotte Breeders Club of America has a facebook page. That might be a good place to start looking.
