BLRW Chick Colors

Any chance either of these chicks will be a splash? It's hard to tell here, but after a few days one looks slightly lighter than the other. The breeding pen they came from had black and splash parents in it. Thoughts? Or will they both be Blues.

They'll both be blue. Black + splash= blue If you want splash you need either both roo and hens to be splash or blue roo and blue hens will make blue, black and splash.

Thanks. Splash just happens to be my favorite. I love the picture of your SLW, beautiful. I haven't ever had a SLW, just the BLRW's.
