Greetings!
I have one hen of 11 who has been beat up by an unidentified hen and was just pecked again to hte point of her recently healed scalp being cut through the skin. I had her in a private pen for two weeks while she healed and just put her back in the main area this past weekend. I think the hens are fighting over which cubbies to lay eggs in although there are 24 to pick from in the coop.
Since I used Blu-Kote after the last attack, I tried using it again immediately, but I think I got some in one of her eyes. Have I blinded her? What do I do????? I am soooooo upset!
And I suppose I should try to figure out who is being aggressive towards her and put that one in "jail" rather than remove the victim?
