Blu Kote on Early Bumblefoot?

I'm sorry if this is a dumb question, but I've read all of the threads on bumblefoot and haven't seen anyone say they've tried BluKote. My hens all have very early signs of it (just dark brownish/black spots on the bottoms of their feet, no sign of pain or swelling). I soaked each of them for 10 minutes each in epsom salt water (with gentle massaging which they seemed to enjoy LOL), then sprayed with BluKote for it's antiseptic/antifungal properties.

Just curious if anyone else has tried this?

Bumblefoot does not always require treatment. In my flock where tiny sharp rocks are common in the soil, I tend to see quite a bit of it. I only do surgery on those that have limping, or bad swelling and redness, especially if it is vetween the toes. BluKote is alcohol and gentian violet which can help in simple antiseptic or antifungal uses, but I would use Betadine or something similar for treating bumblefoot.
