So I used some Farmans Blue Kote on my hen cinnamons comb due to bleeding, and all of a sudden heard it wasn’t good for them? Will she be okay?

Never seen any issues. You gotta be careful not to get it in the eyes. I like it because it hides the color red, which attracts unwanted pecking. Used it for 30 plus years on all sorts of critters without issues.

I made sure not to get it in her eye, she seemed kinda mad at me but it stung, wondering if food dye and tripple a cream would work aswell

I'd be afraid the shiny would attract pecking too. I have never used antibiotic cream, so I'm not the best one to advise on that.

BluKote has gentian violet and alcohol as it’s ingredients and is good for minor wounds and hiding pecked or bare spots, so feathers can grow back. I have used BluKote as well for years. We used to use gentian violet the active ingredient, in babies’ mouths for thrush/yeast infections back in the 70’s before better treatments came along. It can sting, and is not intended for deep serious wounds. For those I would use povidone iodine, chlorhexidene, and plain Neosporin.

I wouldn't recommend Blue-Kote, but your chicken will be fine. According to the government of Canada the main ingredient gentian violet is carcinogen. The issue is not necessarily with the animals you use it on, but prolonged exposure to yourself seems to be a bigger concern. Wear gloves if you use it.
