Last sunday i sprayed one of thegirls with blu kote on the neck and back. It dries pretty fast. Now i have five eggs over the course of the week with good size smears of blu kote. First i thought theywere stepping on thecan somehow and squirting themselves butthecap is on the can. How canthis happen? Are the eggs okay to eat?

Once, I saw one of my chickens kind of grab an egg with her beak wrapped around it, and try to move it, like that party game where people try to pass an orange down a line with everyone's hand behind their backs, so holding it with their chin---etc.

I would suspect that the blue came from contact of a blue kote part of the chicken coming in contact with the egg. Don't know about the edibility. Hopefully this bump will bring it to the attention of someone who knows.
