Please tell me pullet... This is my $38 chick that hatched from 15 shipped eggs.

The darkening feathers on the wing have me worried. Her comb is pretty pale. About 3 months old.

If it were my bird, I would wait it out longer before calling this one.

If you are solid on 3 months, that comb is a bit worrisome for me...that's showing quite a bit of red and development for a pea comb at 3 months for a pullet...and I think I'm seeing 3 distinct rows, commonly a male trait.

But the feathers are still fairly rounded on the back...and not a lot of dark development...but it is still too early for saddles for most breeds and especially as Ameraucanas mature more slowly.

I just wouldn't be breathing easy yet. Sorry.
