If I lived in Alabama, I'd steal your two dark-blue hens. Out of 15 chicks that I incubated I only got ONE dark-blue hen and two dark-blue roosters. I gave everything else away, keeping a dark-blue hen and rooster plus two black hens. Next spring I will incubate eggs hoping to get more dark-blue hens. Then I'll get rid of the two black hens and have all dark-blue.
Umm, uh, do you lock your hen house?
