I have 4 Blue Andalusian birds in my grow out coop now. They are almost 11 weeks old. I have been reading up on this breed and I am concerned about them being flighty. At 15 weeks I will let them start to free range on our acre of land.
I have a flock of 8 other chickens, a mix of breeds.
I was wondering if I should clip their wings before I let them out of the coop. my fencing is 5-6 ft high.

That is what I meant when I said clip their wings. I had an EE that would hop the fence and explore the neighborhood! I clipped her wing and even after molting, she stayed put.

I have a Blue Andalusian I've been free ranging almost a month now . She's a def a runner but not flighty at all . She hasn't reached maturity yet so not sure if that's a factor .

Yes, they tend to be super flighty. Mine's a bit skittish, so she doesn't take drastic measures often, but most people agree they do try and scale even tall fences.

The funny thing mine does that always makes me laugh lol she runs at the other hens and Roo's likes she all big and tough when they aren't looking then they turn around and she runs for her life lol
