blue australorp...not so blue?

finally got my so called blue australorp...but im a little dissapointed. she doesnt seem that blue...more of a browny greyih colour. is that how blue australorps are supposed to look?
i thought she'd be blue like my blue cochins and my blue orps...but she's not

she looks like she hasn't molted yet. My blues go pretty brown after a while due to exposure and wear and then with the next molt they are nice and blue again for a couple months.

thats possible, she is from the late summer 2010 so i dont think she would have molted yet?

She looks like one of our blue hens (Andalusian/Easter Egger mix) in color. Shoe does the same thing: molts in blue, then fades in the sun over the next several months. Your girl has a very pretty head!
