Ok for instance, if I was to use a Chantecler rooster (White Variety) I would need him to cover say a Austrolorp or Barred Rock hen to get this?

I don't if white Chanteclers are silver based or dominant white. If he is silver based, you could get black sexlinks from having him cover a barred rock hen.

I know this post has been quiet for a month, but I too would love to see this cross. I plan on eventually breeding a CCL roo and Lavender Ameraucana hen. I'm especially eager to see the blue eggs from this cross!
